You achieved so much. So why doesn't it feel like enough?

Trauma & Anxiety Therapy for Women in Delafield, Wisconsin

Mental Health Counseling where ambitious women heal, not just cope.

You have been held to high expectations from others - parents, partner, family - and you were not always treated by them in the way you needed. So, you took matters into your own hands and have been everything to everyone for so long, you've forgotten what it feels like to be supported.

You're exhausted from trying to be perfect, anticipating everyone's needs, from scanning for problems in every interaction. Memories of painful past experiences even pop up in your mind and cause you to question yourself and feel anxious.

I work with ambitious women who are ready to stop hiding behind performance, operating on auto-pilot, and start healing from anxiety and painful past experiences.

Serving Wisconsin residents in person (Waukesha County) and online via Trauma Therapy for Women.

If This Sounds Familiar, You're In The Right Place

Despite the messages you received from others, Here's what you need to know:

You're not broken. Your nervous system is doing exactly what it learned to do to keep you safe.

- What looks like anxiety is often your body remembering what your mind tried to forget. -

Worry about what people think or shape-shift to meet other's expectations - while losing yourself in the process.

Find when you finally have a moment to rest, but anxiety floods in to fill the space.

Say "yes" when you mean no because saying the truth feels scary.

Are exhausted from trying to be perfect, from anticipating everyone's needs or managing other's emotions.

Know something needs to change but unsure of what or where to start.

Education/Training

I’m a trauma therapist for women, a mother, a business owner, and a wife—who was once the one sitting on the couch, silently overwhelmed. I understand firsthand how a busy life and unresolved experiences can quietly shape your well-being, confidence, and success.

With over 13 years of clinical experience, I help you heal the root causes of stress and release what’s no longer serving you—so you can show up fully for your work, your relationships, and yourself.

I provide a safe, judgment-free space for women to heal, grow, and rise above the criticism and unrealistic expectations placed on them.

If you’re ready to stop carrying it all and start living for yourself, you’re in the right place.

Extensively trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention,  Schema Therapy, & Mindfulness and Meditation.

I help ambitious women break free from the cycle of anxiety, live on their terms, and heal the pain their mind tries to hide.

Common Q's and A's:

I have a question...

What is the difference between therapy and coaching?

Think of a coach like a personal guide to show you the way. They have already done the thing you are wanting to do and have years of experience and knowledge in that area. Coaching does NOT go deep into processing your past history. My coaching program is a solution to a specific problem which is done through teaching, education, strategy, and accountability.
Therapy involves a therapeutic relationship where the therapist takes a deep dive into your history/life story and provides psychological treatment and interventions to treat mental health symptoms. If you want to process through your past, work on symptoms related to mental health conditions that impact your ability to function in daily life (anxiety, depression, trauma, etc.), and/or have suicidal thoughts/self harm, therapy is the appropriate place for you.

Still unsure? Each service starts with a free consultation call. Schedule one today and we'll chat!

What is your cancellation policy?

When you book a session, that time is set aside just for you. I understand that things come up, and there might be a week when you can't make your appointment. If you let me know at least 24 hours in advance, there's no charge. For cancellations with less than 24 hours notice, the full session fee applies.

Do you accept insurance?

The short answer is no. I am considered an out-of-network provider for many PPO health insurances. I can supply you with a Superbill that you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement, and I also accept HSA cards (Health Savings Account). It's a good idea to contact your insurance provider to understand your coverage and reimbursement rates.

It is worth noting that involving insurance might mean an external party has a say in your treatment duration and type. In many cases, insurance requires a mental health diagnosis for reimbursement, which becomes a part of your medical records. Opting to work without insurance offers more privacy and grants you more control over your mental health treatment decisions.

Do you offer an Initial Consultation?

I do! I offer a free 15-minute Consultation Call to determine if we are a good fit for each other. To start the process, complete the Pre-Screen Form HERE. I will follow up in 24 hours to schedule a consultation call if we are a good fit.

If you connect with my therapy style, awesome! If not, no worries! I can refer you to someone else who can help you achieve your goals. That's all that matters in the end!

How do I pay for sessions?

Credit Card, or HSA/FSA credit card. All clients are required to place a credit card on file for business purposes. This will be explained in your intake paperwork.

How long will therapy take?

Every person is unique and has varying degrees of symptom severity. Some people feel better after a few sessions, while others require several months. Treatment length depends on your goals, consistency with treatment recommendations, and history of symptom severity.

I recommend coming in for sessions weekly for at least the first 1-2 months. This allows us to get goals set and progress made. Some people prefer to do weekly sessions for longer until they see consistent progress and relief. Consistency is key. Going too long between sessions can cause you to feel like you are starting over or not gaining enough traction.
